Shades of blindness
I went back to the eye doc for my one-week checkup.
He wanted to see if the new contacts were working out, and strapped me into theiron maiden machine that shines the supernova-bright light into my eyes. He said that the base curve, combined with the fact that I am so nearsighted I literally cannot see past the end of my nose, is causing the lenses to slide around.
So, he had me try another pair, with a tighter base curve, and told me to come back in another week.
I'm kind of hoping that they'll work out, since the astygmatism is getting worse, and I don't really want to have to wear glasses on top of contacts...
